And it's about time that the &quo...Great post. And it's about time that the "original concept" finally got the limelight. For far too long the celeb actors (A-listers) got all the attention. The Planet of the Apes (1968) was only made partly because Heston said he wanted to do it. To have the "thumbs up" from an A-lister in order for a film to be made is rediculous. Writers write. Actors act. Directors direct. People should focus on what they're good at. Actors shouldn't be the deciding factor on the production of a film.
